TIN CAT MOUSE TRAP
Trap holds 10 or more live mice at once - poison-free, no mutilations
Good for removing pest mice and for trapping mice as food for pet snakes.
Bait the inside of the Tin Cat with small amounts of peanut butter and/or dried dog or cat food or cheese and close the lid.
Place the Tin Cat against a wall where mice tend to run with the side that has the two entrances. It is where they feel safer.
For best results, concentrate traps in areas where gnawed openings or mouse droppings are present.
Block known mouse holes with steel wool to force mice to where the traps are set.
For severe infestations, place Tin Cat traps at 2 - 3 meter intervals.
To monitor a site or prevent repeat infestations, place traps at 7 - 14 metre intervals.
The trap's low profile, 5 cm height, allows it to be placed under furniture, food counters, shipping pallets as well as in cavities in shallow ceilings.
Made of galvanized solid sheet steel with auto re-setting double entrances.
Check through the clear top (at least every eight hours for small animals) to see what has been trapped.
Trap can be moved to various locations once or twice a week to see where the most mice are caught.
Suits household, office, farm, restaurant or professional trapping use - no poisons required so no secondary kills of other animals eating poisoned carcasses.
Can be used inside and out in the weather.
Simple to use.
Open the hinged lid and smear peanut butter along the top edge of two metal shields so that when the lid is closed, the trapped mice cannot access it to eat the bait and others will come in for the smell of food.
Additional bait can be added on the floor such as a few pieces of dried dog or cat food to entice them it.
